These terms cover the iViron Tracker iPhone app offered in the United States (“the app”) and the website us.iviron.ca (“the website”), run by iViron Tracker App Ltd., North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (“iViron”, “we”). By using the app or the website you agree to them.

1. What iViron is

iViron is a personal tool for keeping track of your own iron: blood test results, infusions and how you feel. From what you enter, it estimates when your ferritin may drop and reminds you. The website helps you find clinics that give IV iron and explains iron in plain words.

2. iViron is not medical care

• iViron is not a doctor, does not diagnose or treat anything, and does not give medical advice. Using it does not make you a patient of iViron.
• Forecasts are estimates from the numbers you enter. They can be wrong. Always follow your own doctor or nurse about tests and treatment.
• In an emergency, call 911. The app’s “When to get help right away” page lists warning signs. Do not wait for a reminder or a forecast.
• Clinic listings on the website come from public sources and may be out of date. A listing is not a recommendation. Check with the clinic before you go.

3. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian may use the app for someone under 18 and agrees to these terms for them.

4. Your information stays with you

What you put in the app is kept on your iPhone, not by iViron (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your phone and its backups. If the app is deleted, or your phone is lost without a backup, we cannot get your information back. Check that what you enter is correct; the app works only from what it is given.

5. Reminders

Reminders depend on your iPhone’s notification settings and may not arrive (for example if notifications are off or the phone is off). Do not rely on them alone for anything important.

6. The $2.99 unlock

The app is free to download. Some features unlock with a one-time $2.99 purchase through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules. The safety lines (a measured ferritin that is low or high) are always shown, unlocked or not.

7. Fair use

Do not misuse the app or the website: no attempts to break, overload or copy them, and no use that breaks the law. The iViron name, logo, writing and software belong to iViron Tracker App Ltd.

8. No warranty

The app and the website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that they will be error-free, always available, or right for your situation.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, iViron is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made from a forecast or reminder, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app, or $50 if that is more. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under your state’s consumer protection laws.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the version and date are at the top. If a change matters, the app or the website will tell you. You can stop at any time by deleting the app.

11. Apple

Your licence to use the app is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you accept when you download it. If these terms and Apple’s agreement differ about the licence, Apple’s agreement applies. iViron, not Apple, is responsible for the app and for answering questions about it.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, except where the law of your state requires its own rules to apply.
